|Application Deadline for KMTC Programs in September Intake. Applications for the September intake at Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) are now open via their website.
The deadline for submissions is June 21, 2024.
KUCCPS states that this application is for qualified KCSE holders from 2014 to 2023, including those who previously applied but were unsuccessful. To apply, students must visit the KUCCPS website the student portal link (students.kuccps.net). On the portal, students should click the Login tab and enter their KCSE year, KCSE index number, and password (which is either their Birth Certificate Number or KCPE Index Number).
Once logged in, students can review available courses and their requirements by selecting “KMTC Programmes.” Only those who meet the prerequisites can apply for specific courses.
KUCCPS recommends downloading a PDF document listing all the programs for easy reference. After choosing their preferred courses, students must enter the corresponding Programme Codes.
Next, students should select “Apply Now” under the “KMTC Application” option and prioritize the programme codes from most to least preferred.
After inputting the program codes, applicants should wait for the system to retrieve all program details before clicking submit. The application fee is Sh1,500, with payment instructions provided on the webpage.
For those reapplying who were not selected previously, KUCCPS advises using their existing Payment Reference Code to avoid paying again. First-time applicants will see a “Click Here to Pay” link upon submission. Those who have already paid should enter the Payment Reference Code generated by eCitizen.
The payment process involves selecting a payment method and following the instructions. For M-PESA payments, relevant details including Business Number (222222) and Payment Reference Code will be provided.
After payment, students must return to the application window to complete their submission using the eCitizen Payment Reference Code. This code is necessary for any future changes to the application, so it should be retained.
Once the payment and application are successfully submitted, the system will confirm with a notification, and the applicant can view their submitted application on the Dashboard.
