How to Apply For KMTC Courses Online

Students who are passionate to join Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) in September or March intake can submit their application online.

In this post, you will find the procedure for applying for the course and the requirements and Qualifications for applicants.

Application Requirements

• You need a scanned copy of National Identity Card, both front and rear or you can use your birth certificate/passport for those who don’t have IDs.
• Leaving certificate scanned copy.
• KCSE Result slip/certificate copy
• Ksh. 2,100 in your Mpesa paid via given Paybill.

Registration Procedure on KMTC Portal

Use the procedure outlined below to register on the KMTC Portal.

1. Visit the Kenya Medical Training College official website at http://knec.ac.ke
2. On the menu at the top, click on admission Portal available to the left side.
3. You will be redirected to the online registration portal. Alternatively, you can just click on ‘have no account? Register’ which is below the login form to create an account.
4. You will be prompted your valid E-mail address and preferred password then click on create account.
5. In your Email Address provided, a verification link will be sent where be required to verify your account.
6. Open the E-mail and click on the verification link. Upon clicking the link, you be redirected to the KMTC Portal.
7. A form will be opened where you will enter your personal information once you are done, click on ‘Register’ Button.
8. A form will be presented to Confirm information given is correct then click on save Changes.

Online Application Procedure

In order to submit your application, follow the steps below;

• Once you are logged in, click on application on the left side bar.
• Click on the drop down and select apply.
• You will be presented with option 1 for course Selection.
• Select on option 1 in course level either Diploma or certificate then click on search where a form will be displayed within the page.
• In this form, you will choose your preferred course and fill other fields with required information and then click on submit.
• You will now be redirected to option 2 form where you will again choose the course level then click on search.
• In the form that appears, select your course 2 and fill the form as guided then click on submit application.
• You will be redirected to another page where you will be required to upload your documents including KCSE certificate/result slip, leaving certificate, National ID/Birth certificate/passport
• Once you have uploaded all the necessary attachments, you will be redirected to where you will confirm your course page to ensure they are the courses selected.
• If you find something not right, you can click on the reject button and submit new application again.
• If you are satisfied with the courses, click on confirm where you will be redirected to make payment of 2022 to the E-citizen Paybill number. Once you have paid and ensure the money has been paid to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), click on confirm button
• If the pay does not respond and you get a feedback that ‘Pay Ksh. 2022 to the Paybill number xxxxxxx to Confirm the course’, wait for up to ten minutes then try to confirm again.
• You will receive a confirmation SMS in your phone number entered during registration.
• You can check on your applied courses by clicking on My applications from the left menu.
