The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is now urging applicants for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) September intake to revise their course choices. The deadline for this revision is July 12.
On June 9, KUCCPS invited students to apply for KMTC courses for the September intake. “Did you apply for the KMTC September 2024 intake? Log in to the KUCCPS Student’s Portal http://students.kuccps.net to check the status of your application,” the placement service announced.
KUCCPS has advised those who applied but have not secured a course to choose other KMTC courses through the portal during the revision period. This application is open to qualified KCSE holders from 2014 to 2023, including those who previously applied but were unsuccessful.
Applicants will only be able to apply for courses where they meet the minimum requirements. To apply, they should access the student portal at students.kuccps.net or through the KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke.
To log in, students need to click the Login tab and enter their KCSE Index Number, KCSE year, and Password. “Your password is your Birth Certificate Number or your KCPE Index Number,” KUCCPS stated.
Once logged in, students should click “KMTC Programmes” to view available courses and their minimum requirements. KUCCPS advises students to download the PDF document containing the details of the available programmes for easy reference.
After deciding on their preferred courses, students will need to enter the Programme Codes. They should then click the “KMTC Application” tab and select “Apply Now,” entering the Programme Codes in the provided form. KUCCPS recommends arranging the programme codes in order of priority, from the most preferred course (No. 1) to the least preferred course (No. 4).
After entering the programme codes for all desired courses, applicants should allow the system to fetch all programme details before clicking submit. Upon submission, applicants will be required to pay Sh1,500, and the portal will display the payment instructions.
