KUCCPS 2024 placement Results; How to Check

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) released the university and TVET placement results for 2023 KCSE students on Tuesday, May 21.

According to the report by CEO Agnes Wahome, 134,743 students were placed in public universities for various degree programs. Additionally, over 18,000 students were placed in private universities for degree courses.

Wahome noted that more male students who took their national exams in 2023 applied for degree courses at universities, whereas more female students opted for degree programs at TVET institutions.

“85 percent of 2023 KCSE candidates with C+ and above made applications, with 76.2 percent choosing degree courses and the rest opting for diplomas (11,991). The Bachelor of Education attracted the highest number of applicants. Male applicants continued to dominate placement to degree programs, a trend observed since the inception of the central placement system,” the CEO stated.

To check the placement results, university students should log into the student portal at students.kuccps.net. Log-in requirements include the applicant’s KCSE Index Number, KCSE year, and password. After logging in, students will see the institutions where they have been placed and the courses they have been selected for on the dashboard. There are no charges for checking results on the portal; students only need an internet connection.

“KUCCPS congratulates all the candidates whose placement report has been released today. Log in to students.kuccps.net to check the details of your university and college placement,” KUCCPS announced.
