KUCCPS Issues Notice to KCSE Students Seeking University Admissions

KUCCPS 24-Hour Notice to KCSE Students

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has pleaded with KCSE students Seeking University Admissions to submit their applications for University courses.

This notice is majorly directed to the 2023 KCSE students who have not submitted their course applications for consideration.

The placement body reiterated that the students have been given 24 hours to make their applications as the portal is likely to close on Thursday, April, 4 2024 at midnight (Today).

The announcement had also given an opportunity to students who sat for their KCSE between 2,000 and 2022 as the portal offers them partial accessibility.

The placement body has mentioned that the students between 2,000 and 2022 will be able to apply for diplomas, certificates and artisan courses.

“The application portal closes tomorrow, April 4, 2024. Log in to students.kuccps.net and apply for degree, diploma or certificate and artisan courses,” KUCCPS Announced.

Those who are eligible to apply for degree courses are those who sat for 2023 KCSE and managed to score a mean grade of C+ (plus) and above.

Those who scored a mean grade of C (plain) and C- ( Minus) also qualify for select diploma courses.

For students who scored D+ can take their certificates course in selected colleges and polytechnics. Those with below D+ can now apply for artisan courses in various polytechnics and Technical and Vocational Education and Training.

For those students who sat for KCSE in early years stated above and managed a C+ and above are eligible for degree courses but they must apply directly at their universities of choice.

These category os students will not receive government sponsorship and scholarships but they can submit their applications for Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) for consideration.

Therefore, those who have not submitted their applications should do so before today April 4, 2024 elapses. After this, those who have not applied will be placed in any course in any University without further consultation from the applicants.
