KUCCPS Issues a Notice to All 2024 Applicants

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has issued an urgent announcement, requiring all students seeking admissions for tertiary courses in 2024 to submit their applications within a 10-hour window.

According to the notice released on Thursday, April 25, KUCCPS stated that its application portal would close at the end of the specified duration.

All students who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) between 2000 and 2023 and have not yet submitted their applications are expected to do so within this timeframe.

Students who received notifications indicating that they did not secure any of the courses they selected during the first revision are advised to log in to students.kuccps.net and select available courses from the portal to apply.

KUCCPS has also informed students who scored a D+ that they have the opportunity to apply for various diploma and certificate programs offered by approved colleges, polytechnics, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centers.

It’s important to note that only students who scored a C+ and above are eligible to apply for degree courses.

Here’s how to apply:

1. Access the login page for the application process at http://students.kuccps.net

2. Fill in the KCSE Index Number without the slash.

3. Use the KCPE Index Number or Birth Certificate Number as the student password.

Students should be aware that if a course is not listed on the portal, it means that it is currently unavailable for application, as it may have been filled during previous applications for 2024.

The placement portal indicates that there are limited Artisan Certificate Programmes available for students who did not attain a D+ in their KCSE exam.

Furthermore, students who have already made selections during previous applications are advised not to reapply.
