KUCCPS Opens Portal for Second Revision of Courses, Deadline

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the portal for students who missed selection in first revision to submit their applications for the second time. This comes after the first revision was closed down on 4th April, 2024. KUCCPS Second Revision of Courses Deadline

 

This opportunity had been provided to those students who have not secured a chance with the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service or those who have never submitted their applications completely for consideration.

The placement service has indicated that the portal is not only open for those who sat for KCSE in 2023 but for all students who sat for KCSE beginning 2000 to 2023.

In the KUCCPS application portal, all categories of students are invited to submit their applications for different levels of courses including placements in Universities, Kenya Medical Training Colleges (KMTC) and those in Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET)

Application Deadline

Those who wish to submit their applications are encouraged to do so on or before April 25, 2024. Those who will not have submitted their applications by the end of this deadline will be required to wait for third revision of courses which may not be guaranteed by our media team.

How to Revise Courses on Portal

Those who wish to apply for courses are encouraged to submit their applications through the application portal via http://www.student.kuccps.net.

You will be required to enter your KCSE Index number, the year you sat for KCSE and then the password which you can use either your birth certificate number or KCPE index number.

On the upper left hand, click on Applications in order for you to check on the requirements for application.

You can alternatively click on the institutions tab and search for the courses by their institutions.

You can scroll down and add the courses or revise the courses chosen in brackets.

If you make a mistake and you want to replace a course, you can do so by clicking on the application/revision tab to submit a different code for the program. You can get course codes from the course list.

KUCCPS Second Revision of Courses Deadline

Once you have checked that your courses are okay, you can then click on submit.

During this revision process, candidates are advised not to pay any money as they will only use the transaction ID used previously during first revision. Only those who have never applied will be required to make payments.

Students are encouraged to take up technical courses that will equip them with practical skills that are need in the current economy. The president said this will boost the country’s economic growth.

Since the government wishes that many students take these technical courses, it has allocated Technical and Vocational Education Training Institutions Ksh. 28.3 billion to cater for these schools.
