KUCCPS Sends Urgent Notice to 2000-2023 KCSE Students

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has sent a message to all students applying for Certificate, Diploma and Degree courses that they have only 10 hours left for them to submit their applications.

The placement body has announced that by the close of business today, its application portal will be closed.

All those students who sat for KCSE between the year 2,000-2023 will be affected by this directive.

“Applicants who received notifications that they did not secure any of the courses they selected previously should log in to http://students.kuccps.net and choose available courses as listed on the portal,” KUCCPS made the announcement.

The placement body has also asked those who had submitted their application previously not to make another application.

All those students who managed to score a mean grade of D+ plus and above are encouraged to apply for certificate and Diploma courses in various approved colleges, polytechnics and TVETs.

Those who intend to apply for Degree programmes must ensure that they scored a mean grade of C+ plus and above.

Those submitting their applications for second revision as encouraged to login using their full KCSE Index number without the slash (/) and their password using their birth certificate number or KCPE index number.

“If a course is not listed on the portal, the course is not available currently for application,” KUCCPS stated saying that course had been filled up in the previous applications and therefore, they should select any other course of choice available in the portal.

There are also limited artisan courses for those who managed to score below D+ plus at KCSE. They have also been encouraged to submit their applications before the close of business today.

Those who applied during the first revision and managed to secure slots in their preferred universities are encouraged to log into the portal to confirm where they have been placed and which course in particular.
