The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has moved away from manual and paperwork services and now embracing digital services online.
The commission has moved majority of its services online and now teachers can access them from the comfort of their offices or homes without necessarily having to visit the TSC offices.
Those who wish to access the services can do so through the commission’s website.
The following are that services that are offered by the commission online and how you can access them;
Online Payslips
The Commission has made it easier for teachers to access their monthly payslips online for easy authorization to lending institutions, saccos and any other service that may need your payslip.
For the newly recruited teachers who have received their first salary can visit the TSC ICT offices so that they can be activated for online payslips. Without being activated from the TSC ICT department, you can not be able to access your payslip online.

TSC Advertised Posts
Initially, teachers were required to make a manual application to various schools where the vacancies have been advertised. Teachers were required to submit their applications physically in those schools something that was tiresome, time consuming and financially straining.
The commission since the launch of online services, posts all the advertised posts on its website where teachers can access them and submit their applications online to various schools with preferred subject combinations. This has reduced incidences of teachers traversing various counties to drop their applications something that has saved them from their financial struggles in terms of fare and time wastage.

TSC Number Application and Registration Status
Qualified Teachers from colleges and universities can now apply for their TSC numbers through the TSC Teacher Registration Portal.
Teachers don’t have to travel to the TSC headquarters to submit their applications manually.

Online Tax Deduction Card (P)
Teachers who have created their tpay accounts can now access their P9 forms that are necessary in filing tax returns. Those who wish to file their returns can now access this form by logging in to the tpay portal then download the form.
Teachers can now file their returns in January of every year to avoid last minute rush.
Leave Application
Teacher can now apply for any type of leave online via the TSC portal. The teachers can also be able to monitor the progress of their leave online to check whether it has been approved without necessarily having to visit the TSC offices.
This has made it easier for teachers who are sick, those going to further their studies, those who are pregnant and other to access this service at the comfort of their houses.
