Primary Teachers I receive a base wage starting from Ksh. 28,491 per month at salary point 1, increasing incrementally to Ksh. 35,614 at salary point 6.
Additionally, primary teachers receive C1-rated monthly allowances, including house allowances based on location clusters. For instance:
– Nairobi City teachers receive Ksh. 10,000 per month
– Teachers in Cluster 2 areas (e.g., Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru Cities) receive Ksh. 7,500 per month
– Teachers in Cluster 3 areas (former municipalities) receive Ksh. 5,800 per month
